Well two good things have happened to me and last night came the two bad things.Well the first one I don't find so bad but the second one make up for it.

I knocked something on the back of the TV last night and now all the colour is screwed up so we need a new one. I could easily live without it and save myself £300+ a year so I'm not fussed about rushing out for a new one.

But when Alan came home last night he told me that when he got on site that morning (he's a self employed builder) some B*%&"d has gone and nicked all his tools, about £1500-£2000 ($3000ish). Because who ever has done it has used a key to get in (all fingers pointing to the builder that was first on the job but got fired off because he didn't do his job properly or at all, and who "lost" a key) the police can't do a thing unless the arrest Alan the Mrs Chow, the lady he's working for because they both have keys to get in. Even the police said it looks like its someone who knew what the were takeing and knew the property, but Alan and mrs chow could be on bail for two years while they investagate and at the end of it he probably wont have his tools back and it would be our word against his as to who's tools they are!!! And because the property is empty its not insured so he wont get any money back. Mrs Chow is beside herself for not changeing the lock, but I honestly don't blame her and feel bad for her for feeling so bad.

Mrs chow is a great beliver in yin and yan and the cosmic balance she even had a door fited in her shop just for Che to enter and leave. I'm hoping Che goes and re-alines the bloody theif.

Hope thing go better for ya'll. That's bad his tools got stoeln. I sure hope they find whoever did it...

It hurts when you're going through some of the 'bad stuff' in life. Keep yourself focused, though, on all the good stuff, like Alan, Javan and Arlo!

I'll second what Wyld and Cheryl said. Sorry to hear about stuff like that. Keep looking up, things should straighten out.

Like everyone else, Bev, we are so sorry for Alan to have his tools stolen. We do know that craftsfolk need their personal tools. Vibes to you for things to be better and for Alan to reclaim what is rightfully his.

Gosh Beverly, so sorry to hear about Alan's tools, but what goes around comes around and the thief will get his just desserts! I've seen it happen many times. Big HUG to you.

So sorry to hear this! I hope that somehow the tools are returned, not just because they're expensive tools needed for a job and livelihood, but because people who work with tools have their favorites, and other versions of the same tools often are just not the same. I use tongs sometimes when I print pictures in the darkroom, and I have this one favorite pair that I would miss a whole lot if they disappeared. It's like I do my best work with them.

It is a big pain but we are feeling realy positive at the moment. Although Cambridge st fell through because of the Tax Office, we did find anouther house thats a lot cheeper, it needs a lot of work doing to it but we can live in it as we are doing it up. It's big bonuse, apart from being £30,000 less, is that it already has three bed rooms, and a dubble celler, we'er thinking Utility room and second living room <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15> All meening that in 2-3 years time when we have done it up and sold it we will be able to afford a better house than the one we wanted at Cambridge St.

It took some time but I think all your Vibes have finaly got here because I have a much more positive vibe about this house than I did with the other, even though we would have liked it.
