Our wandering truck driver called me, to let me know that he's alive and well, and driving again... he's really happy that the doc gave him the okay to drive again!

He also said that the company he drives for, Swift, advised all their drivers to fill up their tanks before midnight tonite... seems they are taking seriously the idea I've heard on the news, that gas prices will be going up significantly in the next day or two. So a word to the wise... let's do that too!

Last word I had was that he'd been in Florida but not in Katrina's path... looking for a shipment heading north if he can find it.

The word to all of you, out there in blunderland is... "stay weird"

Glad he's doing okay. Mikes cousin Nancys hubby David drives for Heartland Express. That'd be neat if Nathen runs into him...

I just spoke with Nathen. He's in Alabama, looking for a lost trailer to pick up... someone else lost it, not Nathen. He's supposed to find it and bring it to where it belongs. I hope he finds it....
