GREAT!!!

I got there and barely figured out where to type before Goofus would have given up on me ever responding.

How very cool. And it uses my full name - unlike the old chat that used to cut out the last two letters and identify me as Grandpaste.

Thanks Wyld. And thanks Goofus, for the chat.

Digus has found another version of the chat software and put it on the server:
http://chat.networklight.net/

I had to hit refresh the first time I went there, but now it works every time. He thinks this will work for the people that couldn't get to the other one.

I am there now(talking to myself). If you are still having problems you may want to consider using Firefox
It's my default browser. Both my kids have windoze 98 with Firefox as the default browser, and they can get to the chatroom...I promise we won't tell Bill Gates that your surfing the web with something other than Internet Explorer...

Yay! I updated netscape navigator and seem to be able to open Son of Blat through it. Nobody was there, though. Seems easier to use than the now defunct, original Bunderchat. No Giant Clam, either. Still doesn't work with I.E. Hey Wheezie! Try downloading Netscape's updated version 8.0. http://cgi.netscape.com/cgi-bin/upgrade.cgi

Sorry Goofus. Got sidetracked last night. I wound up looking for a local feral kitten in the woods that I could hear but not find. Every time I got near to where I thought I heard it, it would stop mewing. After a considerable amount of time in searching for it at ground level, I finally found it about 15 or more feet up in a big ol' oak tree! In between my gettin' the idea to get a long, fallen tree to make a sort of ramp for the little fuzzball and the implementation of that idea I heard a tiny plummeting sound. Seems to be okay as the wee bugger skeedattled when I shined my flashlight at 'em. Hope so.

Anyhow, after that long-winded explanation, is there another planned Blat for this weekend?
