After four hours in David's arms, Gay Lynch heard him quote Regina: "You are first in line and first in our hearts," and then she left us at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13.

--Thanks for the beer, Gus!

We love you, Gay!

Gay, we'll always be looking for you at the doorstep... you'll be there, whether we see you or not.

We love you!

Peace!

A piece of what is true, and good, and love has gone. I will miss that sassy blonde that had become a part of the lore of the Guthrie Center. She has become all that there is for nourishment and clarity. Gay was one of the few. I can not express in words what I feel. We are diminished.

Peace to you, Gay. Love to you, David.

Gay, I'm always gonna see you on that front doorstep and at that table up front. David, I hope you know what a big family you've got.

Peace and Love,
Judy

I'll do it! I was sending Gay all the posts for her all summer. She really appreciated them, and so did David. I'm hoping to talk to him tonight, and also hoping he'll agree to a get together sometime soon. He doesn't live that far, in Blunderite terms.

I just got off the phone with David. He sounds good, and was amazed to hear how fast word had gotten around about his Mom. He really appreciates everyone's love and good wishes, and as of now, is still planning to come to the Church in October, although he knows it will be hard for him. I told him there would be a lot of people there to help him!

David I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum, I really do have fond memories of her,and am truly sorry that she wont be at the church when I ever get back there.

Know that you and your Mum are in my thoughts

David, I'm sorry I won't be at the Church this year, but I'm sure there will be some people that will be more than willing to give you an extra hug from me! Your mom had many, many people that loved her and will miss her. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to know her...my life is richer for it.

Much love and hugs headed your way!

Though I share my surname with the lady, I am probably not related. My paternal grandparents last name was changed, like so many others, when they passed through immigration. And though I never met her nor shared an exchange of thoughts with her, I feel, from the words of those who knew her, that I have missed meeting someone quite special who graced this world for all too short a time. May her journey continue on well, if continue on we do. Be at peace.
