Y'know, this is probably very naive of me, but I knew there were many in the US, but I just never thought there were THIS many. My town (zip code) is only about 1 square mile, so I also ran other local zip codes and found probably over 100! And that only represents the tiny towns that immediately surround the small city of XYZ... nowhere near the entire county!

This web site says 5 in my zip.

The TX Sex Offender Database's down now.

There was an offender right up the street. He came here from Rochester, NY. where I used to live.

Small, if sick, world.

UGH............25 in the part of Portland Ore.I grew up in.

But Hey, these are only the ones who've been caught and charged!

I'm sure there are mountains more.

And 95% of sex offenders who abuse children are people that the children know, so I bet there are mega mountains of them out there that have never even been reported!

Uh-oh Judy <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/frown.gif" width=15 height=15> Maybe they're monitoring this thread and saw an opportunity? Oh what a terrible thought!
