Terrie will probably get "mad" at me for this post, but hey, what are sisters for? I was amazed at the response my initial post received, and pleased, too. I just wanted to say that I don't think Terrie should go to the Church but I know she is going to go anyway. So, I'd like to ask you, her friends, to kind of keep an eye on her. She hates that, but tough. No smoking, no heavy lifting, she knows the drill. She'll get caught up in the excitement of the weekend and may "forget" some things. Sorry if I'm dumping responsibility on you and hope you don't mind too much. Have a great time at the Church. Maybe next year I'll come up, too. Thanks!

LOL, all those eyes staring at me, watching my every move. It'll feel good knowing that I'll have so many "guardian angels" keeping an eye on me.

I'm not smoking and can't think of any heavy lifting except after cooling the coffee, having that huge pot to lift and pour into a carafe... but I'll definitely have someone else do that (already thought of that days ago). There's nothing else strenuous that I can think of...

Thanks for caring.

You are all terrific! For those going to the Church, have lots of fun! I'm an Arlo fan, too, but not quite like Terrie. Maybe one day she'll tell you about how I got tickets to my first (yes, that's right, I've seen him more than once!) Arlo concert. It drove her crazy...

El, was that the time that Lance and I were in the car heading for the beach and I heard on the AM radio station that YOU had won tickets to see him? And Lance refused to let me get to a payphone to call you? And you and I had to wait all day and night until I finally got home so we could run and grab each other excitedly? Was that Valley Forge? Or The Ripley? Or Temple? The Academy?

Hi Ter. That was at Temple, Ambler. I even think he did Alice's Restaurant for the first time in a long time because weren't we going to war somewhere? Or maybe that was a later concert, South Street? Brain cells are scattering here in Chester County...I can't remember! But, yes that was the first concert...you on the way to the shore, incomunicado, when I won tickets to the Ambler concert. That was with Pete Seeger. Remember?

I remember back then that Arlo and Pete travelled together a lot. Probably mid-70s.

Just found out some interesting stuff. Called the cardiology office for an appointment before coming up to The Church, wanted to check some things out. Found out I have "significant coronary artery disease."

This is counter to what I was told by Dr. B over that first weekend... "you had a blockage and we fixed it, you're heart's fine."

Dr. C told Lance that I had one blocked artery and the others were "clear."

Today I find out that those "others" are "40-50% blocked" which, in my mind doesn't make them "clear."

So tomorrow I have an appointment with a different group of cardiologists... we'll see what they have to say. If I can't get straight answers from that group I'll be in big trouble as there are the only 2 groups in the entire county... both groups have around 20 docs each!

I just want straight answers! Is that too much to ask? Especially being 3 days away from heading to the Berkshires of MA from Berks of PA?

Hey Terzrie, I sure hope you will get some 'STRAIGHT' answers b/4 ya go to the Church! Damned ol' docs, anyway!
I've had a # of encounters w/dr's who dont tend to give me ALL the info, that they've found! Even when it's 'life threatning'! Hang in there, & Dont stop til ya get the REAL/TRUE answers!
LOTSA MORE HEALIN' VIBES ARE ON THE WAY! & will be, until ya let us know some GOOD news!
Hugs~R.
