Terrie, hope you have a speedy recovery, but don't rush things. Sounds like you need to take it slow for a while. Blundervibes coming your way.

Terrie, I hope you'll be able to get to the Church in Oct. Vibes headding your way.

Once they let you home though don't do too much, just rest and look after your self. If they have you on the Warffrin, be carfull! I'm on it and the slightest knock and you'll be covered in bruses. You don't realize just how slight a knock it takes till it happens. I caught the back of my leg and thought nothing of it till the day after, my whole calf was covered in a blue, purple, green and yellow bruse for three weeks.

Look after your self,
Vibes and hugs,
Me & Alan.

On plavix and lopressor, but my bp's low to begin with. And baby aspirin. I'm so black and blue from all the IVs and needle sticks.

As for the question about the ambulance: I hate being a passenger in anythung that moves under a power other than mine (incl escalators and elevators), so by asking to drive, I was making it very clear to all that this was not going to be a good ride for them either, having to deal with my being carsick.

Luckily for all concerned, I spent most of the 45 minute drive passed out.

I love hearing from you all, I'm actually smiling now that I'm reading your posts, thanks for cheering me up.

So glad you made it through with only minor damage ... many, many healing blundervibes being sent.

Hope you can make it to the Fall Revival!

I got home about an hour ago, nurses didn't even help me move my stuff down to the car, Corey and I had to do it all by ourselves!

I'm in a lot of pain right now and very tired. Gonna take a long, hot shower and climb into my own nice, comfy bed and go to sleep.

I got medical clearance to make the trip to The Church next week! Can't wait.... and no more cigarette breaks for me!
