It's been awhile since I started a prayer topic. Anyhow sue's sisters husband (my brother in law) was in a bad car (truck) accident a few days ago. Don't know the specifics of the accident (one vehicle) but do know he rolled it 3 times. Mostly blunt head trauma. Few broken bones. He remains in a coma, but responds to Drs. commands...(like holding up fingers, squeezing hands) Nothing verbal yet, but with all the tubes down his throat that might be a good thing??

Anyhow keep Ed Burwell and his wife Mary & family in your prayers if you will.

TX so much!!!
RB

My apologies, if I haven't been around. Things and circumstance, have made it beyond my controll. Hopefully things will start looking up, and I'll have some puter time..But to be honest, I just hope things start looking up. I feel like I'm stuck in the song 'IF you would just drop by'. But as Arlo has mentioned, the sad songs can make you feel good after awhile. Hopefully I'll find that soon...

don't mean to ramble, but I guess it wouldn't be Rb if I wasn't rambling on too much! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/axe.gif" width=39 height=20>

Prayers and Blundervibes going out from Florida, Rob, if they can get past all the electioneering vibes down here right now.

rb and Sue, I'm so sorry. Blundervibes and prayers to your and yours. Wiggling fingers and toes sounds like a very good sign. A colleague's husband is in a similar situation--he fell off a high scaffolding last weekend. His doctors don't want him to come out of the coma just yet; apparently they think healing will be faster this way. I'm praying that's true for your brother-in-law, too.

Ed Burwell & his family are definitely in my prayers, as well. When I see some of the crazy drivers on the road around here, I'm often amazed that I don't hear more stories like this. While we're at it, we should also thank God that none of us ever found ourselves in this situation. But the main thing now is Ed's recovery. May it be speedy & may his family receive the comfort of knowing that he is in good hands.
