Just 2 more months until the big day at the wall!

The big event is one month away.

Joe, I know how you feel. In 1986 my local football, Australian Rules, of course, won the Grand Final. They had been cast as the under dogs for the game, but ended up winning very easily. It was a glorious glorious day. My dad, two brothers and I watch the video of the game at least once a year, generally very late at night and after quite a few drinks. We cheer, we clap and we barrack for our team and every time, we are so delighted, no thrilled, that they win.

But then in 1990 our team in the AFL, which I think you guys would class as the National Legue, won the Grandfinal. It was the first time Collingwood had won the Grand Final in thirty eight years. If dad, my brothers and I have really had a good night, we pop the video of that game in after the other one. Take care Joe. Pauline xxx.

I really look forward to our Pittsburgh gathering each year, obviously. I don't believe any other sporting event is commemorated like this anywhere else.

Well, you'd like my friend from Schaumberg, who is always there. He can tell you great stories about Chicago politics. But I can't post 'em here, for fear of having my insurance canceled.
