As another terrier lover, I'm sad to hear the news. Peabody was special to us all here.

i'm sorry to hear that star. i lost the second of two (gasp!) <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15> cats earlier this year. (they were both in their twenties) i'll put in a good word for peabody with them. they were very wonderful and wild...although the one tended to use some pretty salty language like, starting every sentence with, "what in the hell?" and puncuating every sentence with, "jack-ass!!"
i ached for months...
...i just know peabody lived a good life with you. the aching will eventually subside and you'll always remember him fondly (and probably with humor!).

Star -- I am SO sorry to hear about your 'best friend'. I've been there TOO many times and it sure is a sad time. Hope the memories of him give you some comfort.

So sorry Star. Sounds like Guthrie will be a great new begining though.

I'm so sorry to hear about Peabody. We all still get so excited to see a Westie after losing Jacob 2 years ago. We finally got a new dog, a golden. But although he may be the most gallumpyest loving dog, I still miss a terrier that you could converse with.
