Leon Russel is playing in Housatonic Oct 10th... Maybe that doesn't have the same impact as Bobby Dylan....altho I'm seeing Leon....If it were Dylan I'd have to choose Arlo

well... i'm not gonna tell ya' what time I finally:
1. remembered that it was Saturday
2. remembered that it was the day to call for tix
3. remembered to make the call

but luckily, some blunder-goddess on the other end of the phone picked up after 2 ringie-dingies and transacted with me!

This just means that if there are 2 empty seats on Saturday night, you'll know who's not there!!!
but I've never let a seat go to waste, now have I???

too much summer left to worry about that now though. I'm off to Maine on Saturday for a week of R&LR (Rock & Lobster Roll)

I'd just like to take this moment to announce that my perfect record of nonattendance will remain intact.

Guess I'll be meting a lot of new blunderites!! I called and got JACKIE on the phone and we have tickets for Saturday night!!! It'll be my second time and I can't wait!!!!! Hope to see some of the friends I met there in July. What's the tailgate coffee?? (I would have liked tickets for all three nights but since my husband and 2 kids are coming ... that might be a bit costly -- including a motel) -- so I'll have to be happy with the one night!!!

Gentle blunderhugs and peace,
Cyndy

Hey Cyndy... are you planning on staying overnite, or going home after the Saturday show? I'm sure there will be other people who hang out at the Tailgate, although they aren't gonna be at Sunday's show...

Like Pittsburgh Joe, my perfect record of non-attendance will remain intact. Can't get away from the farm and the responsibilities of taking care of our 11 animals (4 horses, 4 dogs, and 3 cats).

Will be tuned in for all the Blundervibes that will be emanating from the Berkshires.

Cyndy, just like Wyld said! Last year i was only able to get tickets for Friday's show. Thank goodness for a wonderful benefactor who happened to have an extra ticket for Saturday's show which I bought from him.

We had to leave fairly early Sunday to head back to PA, but partook of the tailgate party until around 2:30. I'm so glad we did, because Michael got to hang out and have fun, helped set up the dining fly and eat. We had a good time meeting up with other Blunderites and taking pictures of each other.

When we left to head back to PA, we left with warm feelings, not just the shows, but the friendships as well.

Hi Wyld - I hadn't even considered staying overnite to come to the tailgate on Sunday! It was all I could do to convince my family to join me at the church for the concert. Now I wish I would've kept my big mouth shut and came by myself. We had such a horrible experience with the EconoLodge in July, it left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth. I'll work on it, tho!! How many shows are there at the Church during the year? More than July and October? We'll be leaving on the 18th for 2 weeks in Maine. It's fun having the summers off (we're both teachers) but then no money comes in, either. Oh well... (Plus, I'm going to Omega on the 6th and commuting and that's a bit costly, too!! Why in the hell am I rambling?????????

An unscrupulous type could probably make a fortune buying up these tickets & scalping 'em.
