I'm sorry to hear that you and your family are having a bad time at this moment. I know how your cousin must feel; my granddad had Alzheimers. My nana tryed her best to look after him for as long as she could, she felt very bad about putting him into a home, as though she was letting him down, but she was 70 and didn't have good health herself. when he finaly dide she too, although felt bad at his loss knew he was in a much better place.

Heartfelt sympathy going to you and your family. It's really rough when things hit a family all at the same time. You think it's more than you can handle, then it hits again. Maybe it's better, though, than having sad things more spaced out and never having any stretches of time without them. My parents both had Alzheimers at the same time Jay's dad and an aunt in our care were extremely ill; we went through a rough 10 years, and your cousin has our sympathy especially on that. Please pass on the Blundervibes for strength and courage to him/her from us. It was this community that saved my sanity (odd as that sounds, it's true!). Our best to you and yours.
