Hello, friends. I am not sure if I posted this previously or not, but I am gonna be a GRAMMA!!! The original due date was September, but it could literally be any day now, and my daughter-in-law is in the hospital on bedrest because of high blood pressure. Please send some "Not just yet, baby" Blundervibes out to Mom Tanya, Daddy Bob and Gramma & Gramps Bob & Pat. Thanks!

Many "not yet baby" vibes going out. It's rough being in pre-mature labor... horrible, in fact. Boring, bedrest, drugs, contractions.

Much love to all of you,
Terrie

Blundervibes going right out. Hope the baby decides to wait a little longer. My granddaughter went from having the doctor very concerned about a premature delivery to arriving late, if it's any comfort. And then she was basically in labor from late December to January 13th. Dilating and all.

Some "wait a while" blundervibes heading to your grandbaby, Pat... and more blundervibes to Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa...

Grandkids are the BEST! Lots of fun, and you get to give them back to mom and dad when you've done spoiling them rotten! I wish you and your grandchild lots of happy fun times together - but not just yet!

You got it! Blundervibes coming your way. My cousin went through the same thing--with triplets (natural--no fertility drugs). They were early and tiny, but are now healthy and active 3 year olds.

Best of luck to you all!

Thank you for all your Blundervibes and prayers. I'll have to ask you to switch from "not just yet, baby" to "hang in there, sweetie!" We have a beautiful new granddaughter, Olivia Elizabeth (I SWEAR, I didn't make them choose Olivia, Mommy and Daddy thought that up all by themselves)

Olivia Elizabeth
June 23, 2003
3:30 pm
2 lbs, 0 oz
13.5" long

Very beautiful, very feisty and as healthy as can be expected. Mom is doing much better, but chomping at the bit until the docs let her go over to see the baby again. Unfortunately, the NICU is in a different hospital a few blocks away, so Mom may need to wait a day or so before she can make the trip.

Thanks for all your good wishes. <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/angel.gif" width=25 height=20>

Congratulations to you all! Olivia Elizabeth sounds like a very determined young lady who already 'gets' celery time. Sending 'grow fast & strong' Blundervibes to her.

Congratulations! It's a beautiful name, and of course, they can take such good care of preemies now, while it's nervous making it's nothing like it used to be. But we'll be waiting for updates.
