We got home from the wedding last night, so we made it good time. I even got to go out for supplies today and we're prepared to hunker down. As long as we don't lose power or heat, it's all OK with me.
The newlyweds are cruising on the Caribbean and hopefully enjoying much better weather. Rob and band got home from a PA gig ahead of the storm. and he went off to do some hunkering at his girlfriend's house. Selfless lad that he is, he's willing to stay there as long as it takes. <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>
I'm really so glad that we went ahead and got new windows and siding this year, even though we sort of knew financial disaster was staring us in the face. Used to be you couldn't heat this house if the outside temp went below 20. Now it's not bad and with the fuel oil prices I'm sure it's paying for itself like crazy right now. We'd appreciate those fans, though. Hope everyone else is doing OK. It sounds like a lot of areas are pretty much buried now. It's just starting here.

Hey it's plenty cold here in tennessee, I have not been warn all day, my toes are fozen, but the good news is, frozen water does not flood, so we are no longer under a flood watch........We missed the snow, but are willing to let our northern friends have it all.

We didn't get it as bad as we thought. But it was enough to keep us from goin anywher & clsoe churches & schools. Maybe I can get out Tues...

Blundercicles indeed ... but no snow this far north! The front passed to the south of us (yeah!). Two feet and more in Wash. DC, but still not calling it a blizzard because it hasn't blown hard enough, long enough. Ya'd think, with all the blowhards in DC ...

We have 18" at home in West Milford, NJ. (which is where Regina is) I'm in a hotel in NYC where my employer put me after working Sunday night. (not that they're concerned with my getting home okay as much as having a body to work tonight) The forecast for home is as much as 30" before it's over and I'm hoping to get home Tuesday morning. Thank God this place has webtv! A small plug for what I do...The trains are running with delays but they are running. From what I can tell the railroad is the only mass transit operating in this area right now.

we have about 10 inches or so here now and it's still snowing...guess we're supposed to get 12-20. i just got home from work and i'm not sure what the plow guys are doing today, but it doesn't appear that they're doing a lot of plowing. i know the state and local govts are off today for the holiday but i didn't think it included the road crew.

Ceashel, 2 fans are better than 1 and 3 are better than 2. Maybe you, Stew & I can synchronize them??

Woo hoo! Office is closed today. Yesterday was a holiday, and I was sure we'd be going in today, but it's closed. Going back to bed now..zzzzzz

It took me 20 minutes to shovel out my drive yesterday so I could get to work and tell stories to all the idiotic moms who brought their little kids out on a day like that!!!! (I mean, the show must go on and all that stuff, but what were they thinking!?!) It was a holiday and schools were closed anyway, but about 30 people brought their kids out at various times to come to a storytime. Cabin fever or what?

Today isn't as snowy or cold, so I'll bet we'll be busy again. (I DO love my job, I do....really)
