Anyone know what the opposite of "drought" is? Well, it looks as if we're still "in" whatever that word is. Has been raining, threatening to rain, drizzles just about every day since last spring.

At least the temperatures have been mild, mid 40s and even as high as the mid 60s.

Tomorrow, all that changes as we dip into the teens... then snow predicted for the weekend, just in time to take Eric all the way across the wide state of PA to enjoy one more semester at IUP.

Hugs to all.

It was so cold today I saw a dog stuck to a fire hydrant and some people huddling around Martha Stewart trying to keep warm!<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/eek.gif" width=15 height=15>

Sunny and bright today. Gorgeous, until I had to get out of bed. Bitter cold, wind gusts of 38 MPH. Car wouldn't start until I kicked the gear shifter into proper position. All that rain we've been getting formed ice sheets on the sidewalk, recycling cans overturned and soda bottles littered the street.

Michael's sick again. It's gonna be a long winter <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/frown.gif" width=15 height=15>

ya know sparky, if you turn the thermometer upside down, it could get downright balmy outside! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/looney.gif" width=15 height=15>

Dang, sparky, that's cold. Does anything work in that temperature? I know that I wouldn't.

Jay says he's fanning as fast as he can. But I think you need more. We'll try to contact some of the "wind farms" in West Texas and see if they can turn those fields full of fans in your direction! Okay, eh?
