Good morning, BuffaloGal, Arnie, Pat and everyone else in Blunderland...

Someone sent me the following, and I thought it a good idea to pass it along...

An elderly Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me... it is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment,inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too."

They thought about this revelation for a minute, and then one child asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied... "The one you feed."

Trying to feed the "other" wolf... though right now, the first wolf is begging to be fed.

Good morning, Wyld ... wonderful story. Need to keep that one in mind myself. I think I'll print it and post it on my wall.

And good morning to all others who pass through ... its a beautiful day in Michigan. Still warm and lovely, and the trees are just starting to turn. Promises to be a good year for color. I'm looking forward to my drive through Canada on the way to the Berkshirs in October ... counting the days.
