~~~Waves to Wyld and Sparky~~~ ...it's summer?!@#??? Sure couldn't tell by the weather. It's been chilly--was nice during the day today, though. Of course, this time last year I was bitchin' because it got too hot too fast. Just can't be pleased, I guess. Actually, kinda wishing it all away--can't wait until October. I've already started letting everyone know ... regardless of what is going on, I'm gone those days.
Good Hello America.
I don't want to tempt Fate but we have been enjoying some absolutely wonderful weather over here resantly that I just wanted to say so, we don't get really good weather in consecutive days oftern. Went to the beach on Saturday beach combeing with my son and friend, looking for crabs and other such beach things. I got lumbered with carrying the dead Jellyfish round all morning though!
Yuck!
Dead jellyfish???? What were they going to do with it? (or don't we want to know!)
Glad to hear you're enjoying some sunshine!
We have some here, too - though I really don't want to tempt fate by saying too much about it!
:wink:
You do with a dead jellyfish the same thing that you do with dead crabs, and big bit of drift wood, and massive clumps of sea weed; You lug them round all morning/afternoon/day (depending on how long you are at the beach) then you when you tell them that they carn't bring them home put up with the sulking till you pass the icecream van.
Jelly fish aren't fun LOL! Twice I was in the ocean & had them swarming around me & had to hurry & get out. The 2nd time a fews barly stung me. That was not fun. I've seen the dead ones on the beach before. Sounds like you had a fun time at the beach.
It's a shame that you didn't have a peanutbutter fish to go along with that jelly fish. Sushi for the confused!
HA!
yeah, once when a few of us were at the beach, the jelly fish were out in droves...and one came slothfully toward me in the water, so i swam with all my might, creating a vortex, sucking the jellyfish in faster than it ever could have on it's own while i hadn't progressed an inch (i'm very talented that way), but my good friend at the last possible second, reached and pulled me away from the jellyfish with only the very tip of one of it's tentacles barely brushing my arm. *whew*
