Pat and Batty - ya gotta push me to get busy... I started a quilt, about 5 or 6 years ago... I got one block done ... time to get back to it, maybe! (I have no problem starting projects... it's the following through where I run into trouble!)

hmmm.... quilting... Batty(ing)... there's some kind of logic there - HeeHee!

A humid and muggy morning, thinking about Mass or Canada or ANYWHERE else that's cooler. (Weren't we just all talking about ice and snow recently?)

Last year we had 3" of snow on May 17... and this year, the Garbage Trail Walk is on May 18... NOOOOO SNOOOOOOOW!

I think they should have father's day before mother's day. But it all drags back to that age old question. "Which came first, the chicken or the egg"? Enquirering minds would love to know....lol

actually rb, fathers day AFTER mothers day is perfect! we need to be able to scope out just how well mom did, so that we know how large our hints should be...

There were tornados in VA but thanfully none amde it to here...

Good morning and good idea! Every weekend we say we're going to go see it, and don't. We'll really try to go this weekend, then maybe we can do a Blunderite Movie Club.

I laughed my head off...
I cried my eyes out...

I went to see A Mighty Wind today... and it was hysterical! I can just see "the new main street singers" doing the county fair thing!

Yes, it is a send-up, so there is a lot of stereotyping... but underneath the stereotypes there is a bit of truth.

I won't mess up the movie for those who haven't seen it yet, but I can say that I really had fun...
