We could send a blunder food basket, provided Bill likes Guinness, clams, marzipan , Wyldflower and Sherry cookies!?

What a nice thought! Thirty or even 20 years ago, all of it. Now, all but the Guinness, but I could drink that for him I'll put in some yams, too!

Bumper, yes, sent CD via snail mail. Everyone, we saw Bill and Pam this weekend and took goodies, music, and a printout of this thread. They are sending love vibes back to you all, and Pam asked me to say that they know the surgery went as it did because of all the vibes and prayers from all their friends, including you. Bill has bought a few months, and with regained strength, will revisit his favorite Hill Country places and visit with friends. I won't post on this again until there's news, but please keep them in your prayers. Thank you all.

This is an update on our friend Bill, to whom you've all been so good to send vibes for his fight against brain cancer. He's doing great! Western medicine has done all it can, and he's getting acupuncture and pursuing other healing methods. About a week after we saw him, he just woke up one morning able to talk normally and walk without aid and generally be himself again. He's gone sailing with friends and has had several musical gatherings of friends at his house.

It's not an "out of the woods" situation, but so far, so good, and he and Pam again send their thanks for your continued vibes and prayers; they believe that's the best healing power there is. So do I. Thank you all.

Ceashel

Wow! Sending mucho blundervibes and hoping for a spontaneous remission. Sailing sounds so nice. Here's hoping we all can fulfill some or all of the things on our "do before I die" lists--without something drastic like Bill's cancer (or Todd's illness or RBs asthma) making us realize that life is a gift.

Bill and Pam again send greetings and thanks for your continued Blundervibes--he had his first MRI since April, and MUCH to the Western doctors' surprise, there has been no growth--no growth at all--of the tumors. They say, keep doing what you're doing. He had four weeks--it's four months since they said that. Thank you.

Love to hear that! Did he tell the docs of the power of blundervibes?

An update; Todd already knows, but for the rest who've send Blundervibes to Bill and Pam, Bill called us last night; dialed himself and talked a long time without Pam's help. His speech is halting but much better than it was; the words are coming more easily. They took a trip to the Texas coast with friends and we're trying to work out a trip to see them. He's showing major gains. Thank you all again, so much!

I've been wondering about ol' Bill.
It's really great to hear he's improving so well.
A big award goes to Pam for all her help, love & support for Bill!
Thanks for the update, Ceashel.
