~~Waves to Pam and Nathen~~
Well, it's back to snow and ice--I am recovereing from some slightly bruised dignity after a quick trip off my front porch yesterday. Snow, wind and ice here for the next few days. Stay warm, everyone! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

Pam, when I sent you warm waves on the 20th, I didn't mean to send you ALL our warmth! Dallas/Fort Worth area is at a total standstill again today; it's worse than yesterday--thick, solid ice everywhere. The interstates are 18-wheeler parking lots. They're asking people not to get out unless they have critical jobs (medical, etc.). This may be old-hat to some of you, but it's rare for us. Worst road conditions in 20+ years. Thank goodness most of it fell as sleet, so we didn't get ice-coated trees and power lines! (But fingers crossed; it's not over yet.) Sunday it was sunny and 68 degrees. Go figure. I'd ask you for some of the warm waving back, but it's nice to stay home, so maybe you could hold off until Friday afternoon, okay?

... but will it ever melt up here? it was below zero again this morning... I went out at lunchtime, and it seems not too bad, though probably only about 15 degrees.

~~ Waves ~~ back to Sparky, Pam, Pat R, Ceashel, Cliffite, and all the rest of Blunderland (including the young lovers, Nathen and Batty!)

~~~Waves to all~~~ Ceas, I'd send warm waves back, except we don't have any. Do we have a blunderite in the Arctic?? Keep getting all these cold waves! Tell Jay that the violins will keep ...
