Pat, so sorry to hear about the camera. I know how you feel. Try the LIRR lost and found Mon thru Fri during regular business hours, 212-643-5228. Good luck!

Silly Larry! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/looney.gif" width=15 height=15> The year did not change--it hasn't had time to make any changes--it's brand-new!

Oh, wow, Pat, I hope you get your camera back. I would be very upset, especially if there were pictures on it!

Thanks Judy. Maybe blundervibes are in order for the camera. John C, I do know you know how I feel. I thought of you even as soon as I realized I was without camera. I did call the lost and found and left a message. I also called and talked to a customer service rep who didn't hold out a lot of hope, but said if it did get turned in it could take a while. We were the last stop so I was hoping that a RR employee might have found it, but the rep said that the train probably just turned around and went back for the next run. I thought maybe it would have been cleaned out first, what with the puking and all, but he didn't seem to think so.

Pat, your camera thing really stinks. If you don't get anywhere with the Lost and Found - what we did is call our homeowners insurance which either offered to physically replace it or give us money to reimburse us after we bought a new one. It worked out for us with not a lot of hassle. Sorry your nice time got messed up a little. I hope once the dust settles, you can look back at your new years and enjoy. I do think it's awesome that you got to spend such a lovely evening with your son's band. - Happy Healthy rest of 2003.

Any news about the camera yet, Pat? Boy, what a way to start the year ...

On the other hand (what with Mercury conjunct Neptune in Libra, it's automatic with me), you could always look at it as good luck -- like stepping in doggie doo, once you've had the bad luck, the good luck is sure to follow ...

Or at least, one hopes so. Still -- sorry that happened to you.
