The very best of times are just ahead, we may have to work on it a bit but the summer of love is just around the bend.

One advantage of being a tea-tottler. Nada headache. Derek is trying to tell me his head doesn't hurt, where his girlfriend is a lil more honest. Of cours D.J. has my old cure of, 'Hair of the dog'! so he's chipper. I bet he has a long day at work tomorro tho..

Deb, I made it (just barely); good thing, too; had I been asleep, Jay might have done what Sparky suggested--jump up & down on the bed and yell "Happy New Year!" in my ear.

I see a Blunder year ahead; keep your overnight bags packed, everybody!

had a dinner that couldn't be beat, saw the ball try to escape the confines of times square by dropping out of sight, and saw more episodes of Twilight Zone than last year!!! (This has become the new competitive ritual at the new year for cory and me!)

so happy new year to all, and watch out for that mirror, you don't know what may ACTUALLY be behind it!!!!
(and larry, take two hockey pucks, and you'll feel better in the morning!)

We saw the ball live an in person for the first time. Of course it was sitting firmly atop the building when we saw it. By the time it started dropping we were watching on CNN from the waiting room at Penn Station. The band had a great gig and of course they stayed to party all night. We had a great time aside from my leaving my digital camera on the train..(sob) and Bob almost really got puked on by an early casualty of the festivities. It was close but the young lady was able to hold it and we got home intact except for the camera (sob).

Pat, I am so, so sorry about the camera. I had a happier ending recently when my wallet decided to jump out of my purse and stay on the train. After we got home, the people who found it called. They returned it intact and wouldn't take anything we tried to give them. 'fraid it would be harder for someone to return a camera, even if they were so inclined. ing with you.

Hey, a belated Happy New Year to everyone! I had visitors from Istanbul for the holiday--Bhak and her husband Abdullah and little boy (almost 2) Ali Adem (a.k.a. the Bhakaroo). Hadn't seen Bhak in 3 years, so we had a good visit, and she sends her love and good wishes to everyone. That kid of hers is a cutie!
