Happy Birthday, Janet!
....and thanks again for all the informative info, links, pics, etc. you tirelessly and unselfishly search for to post keeping the Main Forums up-to-date on everything happening. Searching and digging for that stuff can be very time consuming.
Have a happy one! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

Thanks for the birthday wishes. It's great being 58. Spent the past weekend in Illinois attending my 40th high school reunion. Most of the people there I had not seen since graduation. It was a beautiful, sunny day, making the trip from the St. Louis airport and along the Mississippi river road north of Alton, Illinois to the Pere Marquette Park lodge where we had the afternoon get-together a real delight. Stayed overnight with my Mom who recently celebrated her 83rd birthday. My daughter will be visiting with me here in Maryland this weekend. She turned 22 earlier this month. Last May she gradutated from Smith college in Massachusetts and is now working near Boston.

The major way I celebrated my birthday this year was to attend Arlo's week-long meditation-yoga classes back in March at the Sueno Azul resort in Costa Rica. What a treat that was! Our classes were held in an open-air hut next to a stream in the wonderfully secluded and peaceful grounds of the resort. Arlo was a terrific teacher. He also treated us to some impromptu concerts including some gorgeous guitar solos. One night Arlo sat in with a local band that was brought in to entertain us. It was truly a magical week.

PS: Didn't have any cake, but splurged on some super-delicious chocolate covered- blackberries.
