Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce myself to you. I am Michael and I am Arlo's new bus driver.
I know it will be hard to fill Dennis's shoes but I will give it my best shot.
I really enjoy working with Arlo and all his family. They are a great family to be working with.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you.
I have only one last thing to say Mike(who ever you are) pay up the 5 bucks Abe isn't driving the bus.

Michael

Welcome to being the new busdriver! With the job you get to have lots of groupies & a fan club. Just ask Dennis! Hopefully we'll get to meet ya at Hampton, VA & Greensboro, NC. I'm suspecting this means that Eugene & the other guy (the one that looked like Uncle Jesse from the DUKES OF HAZZARD & was at Wolftrap. His name escapes me now due to age 40 something memory loss) are driving for someone else instead of Arlo. Are you driving permanently for him or just filling in while those 2 are driving for other folks? Either way welcome to blunderland!

Is the Mike you're talking about, my hubby Mike? I'm highly suspecting my Mike might've bet Arlo on whether or not Abe was driving the bus. Cuz Mike had been saying he bet Abe was gonna drive the bus & kept saying that. He was talking about it to Arlo & I think him & Arlo were debating whether he would or not. Well I had found out from Abe myself that he wasn't gonna drive the bus. He told me it was too much for him to be driving bus in addition to setting up the equipment etc & playing backup for dad & I agreed.

Anyway, have fun driving the bus & keeping Arlo straight. See you guys in Hampton in Nov!

Hi Michael. It's not a matter of filling anyone's shoes. It's a bring your own shoes job. We love Dennis and always will, whether he's driving the bus or not, but there's always room for new friends, too. It's pretty friendly and amazing that you posted here to introduce yourself. Welcome and I hope you enjoy the job a lot. Hope to meet up with you before too, too long.

Hi, Michael and welcome to Arlo's Bus as well as Blunderland. While many of us have never met in person, we are like one extended family here.

If you guys have to do any driving down in Arkansas, beware! As of July, ALL the interstates were ripped up as part of their "Whole Lotta Paving Goin' On" resurfacing campaign. Took all day just to drive across I-40....

I'm Terrie and am in central PA but will (hopefully) make it to the Easton show.

Be careful driving our favorite folksinger.

Hi Michael, and welcome to Blunderland. Just remember one simple thing, if any of the Guthries tell you any stories about how weird and strange the blunderites are, well......they're all true!

Welcome, Michael! If it seems a little strange around here at times, just pay no attention to those people behind the curtain! (This is good SO--selectively obliviosity.)

Shoot, Larry. I was going to tell him not to believe the Guthries when they warn him about us.

Michael, make sure you wave and honk your horn if you're ever cruising along I-75 around Ocala, FL. Whatever you do, please DON'T start calling yourself Mikey, and remember, no Guiness on the bus (but you may smoke 'em if you got 'em).

Never overlook the opertunity to make a little money on the side selling Arlo's used socks and giving tours of the bus, for a fee of course. As a bus driver myself, I wish you all the luck.
