One of the national chain stores here in town has CD's in the folk music section by Arlow Guthrie. Can you imagine that? They also carry Steve Earl CD's.

Well, I guess we shouldn't be too offended; it seems more and more people can't spell ANYTHING correctly any more. (And I sound dangerously like my grandmother did when I say that!) Still...Geez.

I guess you guys didn't hear that Arlo has been sitting on the group "w" bench so long that the "w" just morphed right into his name, thus "Arlow". You guys need to keep up with these things if you wanna call yourselves blunderites! Geez!!!! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/looney.gif" width=15 height=15>

which i've come to believe, i think, means
Woody Guthrie and his son Arlo...but i'm not
certain as of this date.

I could be wrong, but I believe that's the 'French' spelling of the name. Either that, or French spellings, have a habit of adding a 'W' to an O.....

*My brother in Montreal is a spell freak, and that is how he writes it. WITH the W. Being bi-lingual, he speaks more French than English....Leaving me always to wonder. Was that a compliment???........<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/confused.gif" width=15 height=22>
