I'm very thankful that Saddam has been captured, to stand trial before an Iraqi tribunal (strange that he was found just days after the tribunal mechanism was set up)

Of course, we know the Shrub will make hay with this politically... I'm praying for the Iraqi people, that this will speed the process along whereby they will have their OWN government in place, and our troops come home.

Bush is playing this thing low-key. Word is that when he first saw the pictures of the unshaved and unshorn Saddam in custody, he flashed back to his booze and blow days, and thought they were of himself after a bender.
