Couldn't help notice ag posting lately and was thinking of my (our) visit with friend Wyldflower last Friday. We we're disscussing setlist, and the 3 of us all had our own opinions. Wyldflower was saying Arlo had been pretty generous of late. I was thinking "jeesh, I hope it's not one of those shows with a short setlist" (Havelock). reminising about Furtherfest, and the fact Alice got played. Wyld suggested she'd love to hear Alice. My wife Sue came to a solid conclusion.

Yes, even when the setlist seems ridgid, he always seems to pull something out of his hat.(unlike the last) And the storys never get dull. Quite amazing really!

I've heard the same songs & sotires lots of times almost to where I know what's coming up next. I always get something new out of it everytime I I go to a show of his. Folks ask why do I go see him so many times. They just don't understand...

Although ADG says he travels without a setlist, it sure seems like the same show regardless of how often I see him.

In Charlotte in March, as well as Ocean City in August, both times with my #1 son, he played basically the same show. Even Eric started to realize what was next and it was only his second time.

But, Eric still laughed despite himself. He had a good time.

Why would Arlo need to keep a setlist when we got all these blunderites here doing it for him?
