As many of you know, some of us have been practicing the religion of "Selective Obliviosity". I just want those intrested to know, that I have recently also delved into "Confusionist Ying and Yangism".
They compliment each other very well, for the less I know, the more I am.

Larry, would that be the underlying belief of those of us who often say ...

"Well, on the one hand [fill in the blank] ... but then again, on the other hand [fill in the blank with the opposite point of view] ..." ???

Well, sort of. You see in Confusionist Ying and Yangism, one often forgets either the ying or the yang in a given situation, or confuses either the ying or yang from one situation with the ying or yang from another.
It's both very complicated and very simple at the same time, but almost impossable to understand if you know anything at all about it......which kinda defines it really, but not really.. Know what I mean? If you do, then you don't.

Larry, I couldn't quite convert to selective obliviosity. Although I admire the practice, all I can manage is random and often inconvenient obliviosity. Meaning I never know if some little thing is going to get on my last nerve or if I'm going to be oblivious to a small earthquake in my general vicinity...or both. But yin yang Consfusionism..now that speaks to me.

It's actually called "confusionist yin and yangism", but since you have already confused the name, I think you are on the right path, as am I , for I have added a g on the end of yin at times. If I can help you in any way, please just ask, for unlike some folks like Pat Robertson for example, I am a not for profit prophet.
Now child, if it truely speaks to you, tell us what it says.

Well, I assume you know what it says. It's your religion, right? I'm just here listening. So far it's got a good beat and I think you could dance to it...
