I would think all people of goodwill hope, talk and continue to wait for peaceful solutions to Mankind's and Nature's problems. When i say 'all people of goodwill' it is just that no matter who they are or what they believe or don't.
Thing is Leo, much more good is happening in our world than bad but the bad gets the headlines for all kinds of reason. Hopefully the generations to come will out-do ours and those generations that have passed on. But, it not all about failure, not all about the negative vibes that men lash out on the innocent. It is about the dreams that move humanity on together and leaders who would lead with such a vision of goodwill that could and would capture all our hearts (and souls) for the sake of all our children and theirs.
Music and the arts in general are about showing us a better way but i suppose its up to each of us to grasp our own particular nettles and even stamp on the snake in our own wee garden.

If we all moved together then we wouldn't have to wait - It would be happening because all of us would be making it happening. So continue to hope Leo.

Peace, goodwill and a big Irish hug to you :)

while i am in a bitchy mood

Here is another thing I am sick of.

I am sick of America being aligned with Israel.

I work with many Jewish people. I count them as my friends. I dont distinguish people by race or religion.

But,

I am tired of the hearing about the programs, indoctrination and political action used by Israel to keep America on the side of the god of Israel.

You know,

"oh isn't it great that Israel assists me in sending my children to our homeland to be indoctrinated"
THE WORLD IS OUR HOMELAND...ALL OF US! GET IT! ISRAEL IS NOT SPECIAL!!
or
"look at this picture of my daughter holding a gun in the promised land, and Israel helped send her there"

no, these are not cool things!

Woodstock, sure there are plenty of good things going on in the world, yet as others have said, ''If one suffers we all suffer.'' We are far far away from the potential that humans could achieve.

With as much power as the TV does have, I will not settle to have it in the hands of the corrupt, and no one else should either. You can take this following for what it is worth, but the powers of heaven which will be shaken in Matthew 24:38 (An pretty sure it's 24:38 whether you would probably check, is probably not.), and that is when the righteous come like a thieves and take control. I've talked to people who can't wait for the day that the Rock and Rollers (Sure they ain't perfect either.) take control of the TV.

I see perfectly clear that what I will call an ''explosion'' in my local'pool playing watering hole was directly tied to the fruits of the religious right's stone throwing that got in high gear back in the 80's. So much so that I call them THE=MEDIA-RIGHT-STORM, what I witnessed descend out of the TV and into a bar that could not mind it's own business any more. (Oh plenty understood but they just were not the kind of friends I would have over or go to dinner with..._)

Whether you believe it or not, the saints of the most high, those with insight in Daniel 12:3 have been given over to the little horn of Daniel 7 for a time times and half a time! And until they take over the TV nothing will ever get fixed in the Middle East or any where else.

Leo, you keep on quoting certain passages from the bible to back YOUR cause/insight/vision. Isn't that what those other folks do? As i mentioned before you either believe its divinely inspired and as such 'obey' whatever your 'spirit' or someone's else's interpretation as god so wills it or you just take the bible as a collection of books (number disputable/debateable) that apparently gives you the good, bad, ugly and the 'Promised Land' for, well the crowd that followed Joshua into taking the same land by force from the local tribes. The Bible is an interesting book to read, play with, eat, drink and possibly give some clues to whatever but just like any collection of books you can take what you will from it. Sadly many people have been made slaves, butchered, harassed etc etc because of the history and life around it.
I don't get it Leo. The world is a mess because of one religion attempting to be the one with the true message. But say for instance that message happened to be love your neighbour as yourself (without the threats from above) maybe we could move into a new dispensation of peace and goodwill and all the rest but maybe its better to take the plank out off our own wee eyes before we try removing the wee splinter from other folks eyes. You appear to have been indoctrinated by experts whoever those angels happen to be why not think outside their box and make love your circle.

If all else fails get back into the music you love and enjoy, enjoy and enjoy.

As must have been stated here a few times or more, Rock and Roll is what I tell everyone my religion is.

Oh I knew from the start, it was going to be a bitch, (Though, did not expect such closed minds from Arlonuts.) right after Little Texas's song god blest Texas woke me up with me saying, ''That is what happened, we all came down from above (It was a time in my life where I finally had felt myself, connecting with people every where, except the little blonde who woke up my social conscience, but it exploded, and not over this stuff, but her mind games.) and I said woe, I am Michael. I can never tell this to anyone without them thinking I was crazy.'' And 4 days latter completely out of the blue, a friend told me about a war war in heaven which dragged a third of the stars (No matter how closed you have made your mind, or the box you have made of things, those stars are going to turn out to be angels. And they are not invincible.

Bottom line is that I came to some conclusions completely on my own and alone in a wilderness, and over the course of time found things in the Bible which backed them conclusions up without being out of context about these latter days we are living in.

Tell me what Jacob's dream of angels coming up and down a latter means to you! Sadly nothing what so ever. It explains what I am saying in a nutshell.

I've already lived through, amazingly so in a broken promised land, some awful times that are spoken of who I am claiming to be, and often loose hope of the good things to come ever happening. But I will just keep sowing my seeds to closed minds. I have met many who understand and know that there isn't much anyone can do until the appointed time, of which if Ethiopia erupts as Egypt and Libya have it will be 3 out of 3 of the appointed time in Daniel 11:40-45.

My friends back at 40's Club (Does that number ring any bells to you?) in what I call Lemon-minister, spelt Leominster saw it all happen 20 long years ago and know it is true, as does lots of others new and old friends made in a summer of 2012 trip back to there from Antwerpen. How it hurt for Number 9 to have had to walk away from my beloved Abbey Road condo there!

All i would say at this point is take what you may but your comment of who, what, or where i support or otherwise would seem to infer that you have the gift of mind-reading if not pushing the boat out a wee bit over board. If you ask a particular question in relation to a particular border/s or a barricade/s i will of course reply. I don't sit on fences but understand why most folks do and why some people don't.

Happy Days

"As must have been stated here a few times or more, Rock and Roll is what I tell everyone my religion is."

Sounds okay to me Leo as i know we enjoy some of the same rock and roll. Music to both our ears to hear so lets keep on rocking in the 'free world' for as long as we breathe and can dance in our hearts. (I'll check out your latest Mary S. and thanks)

Just after listening to Marty Stuart and that was after i posted the last message to you Leo. Wow as i wrote you just hit the nail on the head with that one and enjoyed the introduction to that guy. Great song with lots of meaning and certainly better kind of religion!
(Never heard of Lakota before, Dakota yes. I made a model plane of same name many moons ago)

Thanks again Leo :D

it was a question "i take it" started that sentence..not reading your mind

specific barricades or borders

this is a thread on Israel Palestine and i specifically said

I don't like the Israeli lobby in America with the free shuttle of American Jewish kids over to Israel to raise support for that organization. I was talking about 1 specific incident when a American Jewish mother showed me a picture of her daughter at an Israeli barricade holding a gun as part of one of those trips.

I can give you another example. Another place and time the place I worked had a large population of Irish Americans. I witnessed fund raisers to support the IRA. I didn't like that either! God knows where that money went and what was done with it!

I was expressing my opinion that I prefer the US be neutral in these situations. I know the US is not. It puts me in a bitchy mood sometimes. I don't sit on a fence when I feel bitchy about it. I don't believe the whole" if you just practice peace and love and live in your own little world everything will eventually finds its proper course in the world" philosophy!
