Best wishes to those afflicted with Friday the 13th Dread Disease. I hear that wearing moose hats can be a great protection and comfort on this day.

Arnie can be reached under his desk if anyone needs him.

well you know arnie, earlier i was thinking i would offer you my extra spray bottle of water (with jet stream) for being under your desk and all, but i thought nah...he has probably already got that covered to say the least and would consider that to be gross negligence...i was thinking about you though!

Never had a problem with Fri the 13th, actually thought it was kind of a lucky day - discharged from the hosp years ago on that date after a car accident...figured I was a head of the game.

However - I would warn the Blundertribe...not to make any gig plans on that date...It turns into a Blunder extraodinaire!!!! Weather MUCH colder than home 400 miles south, preferred restaurants closed, favorite restaurant GONE, cell phones going off both weekend days at 6:30 A.M.!!! (SIL daughters baby coming/came), forgotten bathing suits AND sneakers, Aquarium under construction...SLEPT thru Valentine's day dinner and of course...gig cancelled.

We're somewhere in Maryland...too tired to drive the rest of the way home. Hopefully tomorrow - because I need to get back before the predicted snow in Jersey Weds. LOL

We actually had a very nice weekend...just not what we expected.

....

Arnie's head would simply go supernova and all life on earth as we know it would end. (Except for maybe cockroaches and evangelical repug-licans living in Crawford)

Ok, I did some research. Lisa is on to something. Foil hats WILL offer protection from supernova Arnie heads.
Scientists at NASA tell me that when an Arnie head goes supernova, there are no actual particles emmitted, but there are billions and billions of strange thought waves that can be deflected by foil hats, thus mitigating any potential damage to ones own cranium. WARNING! Failure to wear a foil hat on any second consecutive friday the 13th may cause one to crave chonklit, refer to oneself as "backhalf" and take on mannerisms of Groucho Marx.

Just beware, Friday the 13th coming not just twice in a year, but in two consecutive months can only be seen as a bad bad omen... sort of like finding half a worm in that apple your eating... But then again, two negatives can only produce a positive, right???

So I'm positive that you won't be hearin' from me until the coast is clear!
(or until Saturday)! Now excuse me as I gotta go pack away a few more chonklit cakes and comic books into the cubbyhole below my 'puter...

If I bring you a tinfoil hat, can I have some chonklit cake??

And, Larry, regardless of anything else, I don't think it's fair to blame poor Arnie for the Repuglicans.... not to mention cockroaches!

And I thought he was your friend, not to mention backhalf!! :?

Friday the 13th. Time to write some bad ryhme.

#1. I woke up
#2. The geese were flying above the roof
#3. Nuthin outta the ordinary, not even a moose
#4. The dishes are done
#5. Even pots and pans
#6. Had me a breakfast, of fried eggs and spam
#7. The sun is shining, like springs in the air
#8. And I certainly love, this time of year
#9. Not to mention my friends, welcomed me back
#10. To a place they don't judge you, or try and keep track
#11. Of lifes little blunders, some big, some yet small
#12. Or the time, you got lost, in your own shopping mall
#13. So I'm not superstious, but I do like the song
And I pray everybody's groovy, and having a ball....

TADAA
