Carnegie 2008 was the most memorable gig I have ever been to. For me the set list was perfect -starting with Midnight Special - and tucking in Golden River & Amazing Grace.

Seeing Pete so so vital and happy. I loved watching his kind face watching the "youngin's" sing his songs...and Arlo being the "kid" with Pete on stage...could not be better.

The NYC weather, before and after, behaved. Spending time with good friends was wonderful - even with the two absent Texas Blunderites mentioned in almost every conversation. - (I was asked so often-sometimes almost with the tone that I was responsible for some "some GOOD explanation"-why they weren't there). Of course when the Shelley clone showed up in front of Carnegie it made several of us skip a heart beat and my eyes well up.

Thank you Pete & Arlo and families (and crew) - and the Blunderworld (esp JC) - for the most wonderful day I have had in years.

Sounds like a wonderful show! So glad everyone had a good time. I had fun seeing my cousin Jason Mraz sing while ya'll were seeing Arlo. Bets being home feeling lonely. And we thought of Arlo all night to the point that Mike told someone we were related to Arlo & then realized he meant cousin Jason...

If one doubts that music and singing can profoundly unify folks for a few hours and, hopefully, after leaving the Hall...well, you shoulda been there.

I won't even try to descibe the spirit or feeling or vibe. My written words just won't be adequate. A very, very memorable evening. I'm really grateful that I was there to be witness to a most awesome collective spirit. Powerful stuff last night.

What a wonderful concert! My Mom and I made our annual trip to Carnegie Hall and enjoyed every minute of it. As we were leaving my Mom reminisced about the first time that she saw Pete sing. She was 14 and went with her older brother and a couple of his friends to an apartment in the Village to "hear a guy with a banjo." That was 60 years ago.

Watching Arlo, Pete, Tao, Arlos's kids and grandkids, is watching the tradition continue and seeing the future.

The show was incredible! And it was fun to be able to get together with old friends for a bite to eat (or a drink) before the show! The best part for me was being able to share the whole experience with my daughter Sara who really deserved a special time and she got it!

I had a wonderful time! I didn't know I was going to have the opportunity to go until early November; I am so thankful for the generosity of good friends who offered a chance to purchase their extra ticket and another who offered a place to stay.

I'll find out in a day or so (when I have time) if my recording came out okay...!

How good was it?!! After the very first song, "The Midnight Special", the audience stood and gave everyone on stage a standing ovation! That's how good it was!!!! Unbelieveably wonderful!!!!

I too made a recording - from the center lower balcony. On first listen it came out very good---exactly like I heard it!

what a wonderful, heartwarming, night. Pete's a hero of mine and to see him return to Carnegie Hall is always a euphoric experience.

Excellent show with the Guthrie family and Pete Seeger at Carnegie on Saturday night!
It is really great to see the family all together having fun and enjoying each other's company and just loving life.
Also, great as always to see Pete bouncing around and signing w/Tao.

All these folks are truly a big part of what makes life GREAT!
