First, the story--

Last night my sister called me and said "I have something I would like to share with you." She began,

"Mooses come walking, over the...."

Then came the squeaky little voice of my two year old nephew, Sean, who said "hill."

She continued, "When mooses come walking, they rarely stand..."

And Sean, "still."

Well, they did the whole book to me over the phone, and of course I had tears rolling down my cheeks by the time they were done.

Flash forward to this morning, and I was walking my labrador through the park as I do every morning, when a large group of Canadian Geese flew right over our heads, and inspiration struck:

Gooses come flying over the trees
Gooses come flying, they fly where they please
When gooses come flying, they fly in big "Vee's"
When Gooses come flying over the trees

Geese are annoying, they don't have much class
They poop in your driveway, they poop in your grass
They crash through your windows and shatter the glass
Gooses can sure be a pain in the neck

So if you see gooses aloft in the breeze
Get out your shotgun and blow off their knees
The gooses will leave, and you'll feel at ease
While watching the gooses fly over the trees
