thanks all for your kind thoughts... I'm on the mend, and should be back to chewin' on my thoughts by the end of the week!

Hey! I didn't really want to have ANYTHING in common with Sarah Fey! And let's be serious, they wouldn't sew her mouth shut... they'd just remove her tongue so it couldn't waddle like a duck's behind anymore!!!

Many politicians are impersonated on SNL, but this completely exposed her.

Shoot 'em up Sarah doesn't scare me as much as she causes in me, like a bad toothache, a big pain in the butt!!!

Good thing for you! If I did show up to help, we wouldn't be done yet and your mead stores would be depleted! :D

We did finally make it home tonight--we spent a couple days in Cape Cod after an almost-perfect weekend at the Church. (It would have been perfect except for all the missing Blunderites, but it was great to be with some we hadn't seen in awhile, too.) There's been no problem in past years, but this year the motel's WiFi was on the fritz, so we couldn't post while we were there. :x

I'm bushed--in more ways than one. I think it's time to crawl into my VERY OWN bed. :D More tomorrow, when I can keep my eyes open.

We got home last nite. Wish we could've stayed longer on our trip but just can't afford. Glad everyone had a good time at the church...

Ceashel :

Yours ( an Larry's) post say it all : that you are already / still packed for next year, and the only thing not perfect about this year was the missing Blunderites? You are breaking my heart!

Okay...I will commit, here and now, to being there in 51 weeks. I have NO excuse!!

Are there any other Missing Blunderites out there willing to do the same, to make real the pages upon which we write, to seal the friendships that we have made, to give the support in human hugs for all the trials we share - why not be there?

The Challenge is on!

I had my laptop with me, and stayed at the same motel as Ceashel, but was tired enough and busy enough that I never even got the laptop out of the bag to discover that the internet didn't work!

We technically got home last night, slept at home at least, but we're only home-home for an hour or so. After the GC we went up to Cape Cod - wonderful - then made a stop in Waterbury CT to see two train museums on the way home. Today we picked up the dogs (EARLY) this morning and went to Pete's Pumpkin Festival, which was beautiful and CROWDED! (yippee!!) Then we dropped them (the dogs) off at the house and went to dinner, so we have thoroughly confused pooches.

Arnie - Poor you - that really sucks. (No pun intended). You were very much missed!!! Glad you're feeling a bit better.

Capt Zap - What kind of 30 year warranty??? Shingle only? Manufacturer?

Larry - Thanks for taking the pix even if you used extreme tactics to make up smile. BUT we forgot to take a big Group picture this year. (MG) Next year when y'all come.

As far as packing - we might get the vacation laundry done in 51 weeks, so we might be ready (such pressure with the Fashion Bug gone out of business in Great Barington, I can't just buy clothes while Im up there)...so we'll probably pack two hours before we leave as usual.
