Certainly we can protest without getting violent.

them good old days? I can recall a time when our boys used to just stand on the decks of ships off the coast of Lebanon and watch the Jews and Muslims kill each other. No need to get involved only Christians was Lebanese and there weren't many of them! Hell, the Soviet ships were all parked right next to us so no need to go lookin' for 'em. Them was the goodle days when there was no need for involvement cause Ronnie would soon come along and cure our Malaise!

Here's something we can do. This came from the WE Campaign last night:

Tell ABC to air the Repower America ad this Friday on 20/20.

Take Action!

Dear Shelley,

Did you notice the ads after last night's presidential debate?

ABC had Chevron. CBS had Exxon. CNN had the coal lobby. But you know what happened last week? ABC refused to run our Repower America ad -- the ad that takes on this same oil and coal lobby.

I sent a letter asking ABC to reconsider their decision and put our ad on the air, but still we haven't heard back more than a week later. I think they need to hear from all of us. Can you help? Please send a message to ABC and tell them to air the Repower America ad this Friday on 20/20. Just click here:

http://www.wecansolveit.org/ABC

We're working to get 100,000 public comments to ABC before 20/20's next airing.

If you follow the link, you can see the ad and get information about the WE Campaign.

Last year I saw on YOUTUBE a group of people stop in the train station in New York and stand still for one minute.

We could get a large group of people together to sing Alice's refrain at an assigned time.

Sort of like the pirate song in one of the Pirate of the Caribbean movies.

This looks like a good way to support a real patriot. The news story and his letter say that it's got to be done today or tomorrow. This guy is close to the goal of raising $45,000 (but not there yet). Reaching it will save a big chunk of wilderness AND keep him out of prison. I'm not saying you should, just saying it's one way to do something about "IT."
