Happy Birthday Terrie. So you, Judy and I are turning 54 this year!! It's a special year, once in a lifetime, when your age is the same as the year you were born. I guess that means good things for us!

Thank you all. No Chonklit Indian Tacos, but my (part-Navajo) roommate made a really nice chicken and mashed potato dinner for my birthday. Tomorrow we're going to the casino after work to have dinner and listen to the band (and maybe play the penny slots).

At lunch today, several of my students came rushing into my classroom to sing happy birthday! So cool. I brought chonklit cookies to share with my grad classmates tonight at UNM.

I never noticed until Louise mentioned it... that we're 54 born in '54! Maybe it does mean something really good :)

I think it means 5 will get you 10 at Woolworths!

A day late perhaps, but you're still 54 so Happy birthday! Now maybe that chicken last night was made with a nice chonklit mole sauce???

Ah, yes, Arnie... something else I have to learn to cook... mole. I know, I know LOL... I've never had it, but have heard it's great with turkey. Now if my roommate knows how to make it, all the better! Thanks :)

Have any of you seen (or read) Como Agua Para Chocolate (Like Water for Chocolate)?
