This superhero was probably sleeping. It's tough work, keeping you two just far enough apart to keep the world from imploding. I had to eat all weekend, to have the strength to do the job.

That does make sense. Judy, you have to do what you've gotta do to be well enough nourished for that job.

It may make sense to think that the middle half was sleeping, but I have it on good authority that all three halves were definitely not sleeping nor doing any other sensible activity for most of this past weekend. CNN reports that various employers in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Wisconsin, Texas, and Colorado have experienced a sudden rise in the number of employees sleeping on the job.

Darn! I've been found out!

Really? I had no idea that the folks in the Bush cabinet were from those states!

Yup.....I seen it first hand. Avocodo sandwiches and lemon/raisen cookies are to SuperJudy what spinach is to Popeye.

Brrrr, it's a far cry from the recent balmy days and nights we spent in the Massachussetts hills. You may remember that I was quite fascinated the the Searles Castle/John Dewey Academy I saw there, and no one we were with knew anything about it. We stopped at an information booth on our way out of town and found out about it. A local girl, Mary Sherwood, (rom the Great Barrington area, married (in New York City) Mark Hopkins, a very wealthy man from San Francisco, who owned the Top of the Mark and a lot of other property in the San Francisco area. Mark Hopkins was the co-founder of the Central Pacific Railroad, which joined the east and the west coast. When he died, his wife, Mary Hopkins, found herself one of the richest people in the country, and moved back home to East Barrington. She hired Stanford White of New York City to build her a house and wound up marrying the decorator who was 20+ years her junior. She only lived there about 3 years before she died, and her decorator husband lived there for a long time. His name was Edward Searles, so it is/was known as the Searles Castle. It is now owned by the John Dewey Academy which is a private college prep boarding school for troubled teens. But it was built with RAILROAD MONEY!!!!
We had a fun time up in Mass. and enjoyed seeing those we haven't seen in a while and meeting those people we've heard about but had not yet met. A wonderful group, all of them!

Anybody post any photos online from last weekend? I took a couple of The Church and took one of Stewart taking a picture of somebody else (don't recall who) who was taking a picture of a tree or something and then I stupidly forgot to take more. Well, what the heck! That last one was like getting three pictures in one.

Oops! Just found out that it was Stuart (Stu) and not Stewart (Stew) who I took the picture of taking a picture of some body else taking a picture. The English language can be so confusing! Dear (not deer) me (Me meaning Zap, not Xap)! Please, bear (not bare) with me. Well, bare with me might not be bad either, depending on who it is!

hey beautiful people, some thing i have failed to mention, and i know i'm over aweek late.
i wanted to give a special thank you to all of blunderites that made it up for the revival weekend, iit was great to meet all of you again and it was great also to meet even more bluderites i have not met before.
you have all been great and loving people and i cannot thank you enough for all the kindness, genorosity, grooviness, frienship and caring that you have shown and giving me, i don,t know how to repay all of you for what you have made for me a very special weekend and a very short respite from my depressive reality world.
i thank you all for the fun loving people that you all are and wish you all the best of what there is to offer you and hope that the best of luck, love, and life remain there for all of you.
