A few years ago there was a lot of talk, including by Arlo, about a retirement place for Blunderites; sometimes called Mooseland or Blunderland. We even batted around (sorry, Batty!) the idea that we'd need a series of them around the country, to follow the seasons, the bus, etc.

Lately I've heard several Blunderites mentioning it again, saying, it's time!

Well, here's a buildilng concept that just might be the perfect thing for Blunderland: http://www.earthship.net. At least, it gives plenty of room (pardon) for thought.

I wonder how Batty is doing. Haven't seen her on here in along time. Hope she's doing okay...

I guess their being in the news resulted in too many visitors to the website, so it was down yesterday, but it seems to be up and working again.

Here is the best place in Oz for old Hippies, Blunderites and Moosefriends to retire when they get too old to follow The Bus around!

I read in the paper this week that Max Yasgur's farm is for sale, and for only 8 million bucks. Should we take up a collection?

There was an earth house in Southborough, MA. We looked at it in 1992. I really wanted to buy it but the wife said no. They tore it down (or up) and now there sits a gigantic traditional home.....too bad...it was real cool...literally.

one of those earth homes reminds me of the hobbit homes in the hillside...which reminded me...
you know...i found an old (1966) paperback of jrr tolkien at a thrift store, and when i got it home, within the pages (as markers i am guessing) were little leaves of paper with gummed edges...
how quaint is that?

larry, there were many many pages, but none that were marked 420
...but your question got me to thinking about numbers that would go evenly into 420
which got me to thinking of that nursery rhyme, "sing a song of sixpence"...

four and twenty blackbirds?
a pocket full of rye?

what??
