To New Mexico she decided to go
There to study and learn she will tarry

She was born in the same year as me
Guess that means we both turn 53!
We're in our middle ages
So that makes us wise sages?!

so when you have your birthday during passover, and it falls on easter sunday (or is that esther sunday, nu?) does that mean your chonklit cake is made outta matzoh, and is colored blue and red??????? :roll:

hope it was a happy one, no matter the color! (altho' chonklit colored does seem to taste best!)

You know, my birthday is often during Passover, but being a Gentile, I've never had to worry about what was in my cake. I had a good friend named Amy when I was growing up, though, who was Jewish and could never eat any birthday cake at my birthday parties. She could only sit there and watch the rest of us eat it.....and eat ice cream. Now Amy's birthday was in October, and every year for YEARS I would get tonsilitis for her birthday, so I could never go to her party. (I'm not making this up!) Her Dad would always bring me a piece of cake, though, and I could eat it, and ice cream, too, in bed. I finally stopped getting tonsilitis, but I don't know if we were still going to (or at least invited to) each other's birthday parties anymore by the time that happened. I'm not sure which one of us got the better deal in all of this. I still have my tonsils, by the way......

Oh, yeah! Happy Birthday, Terrie!
