Just watched Fox and Friends this morning (probably a show not well known here...lol) and they did a 3 minute segment on "American Chopper." The lead in to the segment and at the very end...they played a few seconds of none-other than Arlo's Motorcycle Song. Man, it sounded GOOD!!

on MY tv that is.

I just got the BOUND FOR GLORY dvd with David Carradine. It was pretty good. Back in the days when David could act, I was surprised. I was disappointed that it didnt go a few more years so we could see a little mini-Arlo when Woody got to NY.

Yeah Goob. Great movie, but Carridine didn't exactly fit the part. David's a whopping 6'2" when Woody was a mere 5'10". ( He mighta been shorter. People usually get thier hieght thru thier Mother's genes).

Not only that, I don't think the music did justice in that flic. And they had Woody portrayed as having a short fuse, and rude.

My Mom told me Arlo didn't much approve of the movie when it came out. Of course this made me want to watch it more, but I think me Mom was right....

A remake is definately a 4:20.....let me speculate. Eddie Vedder playing Woody???

... so tonight i was listening to internet radio ... found a new station called
"folk music of the 50's and 60"s" ....sounded good to me......they say they feature "those that started it all" and it's pretty fun....like Pete Seeger singing Rock my Soul.....and then Arlo singing "Meditation"....wow....haven't heard that song in a long time.....his name was mentioned a couple of times....so i'm guessing it's a place he gets airplay......they were also announcing some connection to I tunes, but i didn't quite get that....

Was watching "Imus in the Morning" on MSNBC today (as I do most every morning). They were showing a series of still photos from the hurricane tragedy with Arlo's "City of New Orleans" playing as accompaniment. Cool!

Wow, he's showing up everywhere. I just saw a Nissan tv commercial using "Riding In My Car" as background music. Not sure if that was Arlo I heard singing it or not. What about this, ADG?

Hey Mikey - I watch and/or listen to Imus in the Morning and I heard that, too ... that was a pleasant surprise. Can you imagine Arlo being a guest on Imus? Now that would be really FUNNY!!!
