good question pedrotuga. I don't know if adg has ever actually voiced (in person or on the website) his views on file sharing of recorded copyright material of his (or others). This is as opposed to the sharing of third-party recordings of arlo at concerts etc. that get passed around, which is implicitly condoned based on the very existance of this Forum.

Anyone (Arlo?) know any more about this?

Seems to me that I read somewhere he didn't mind it. I noticed one of the songs on the site didn't seem to be Arlo. Have no idea who it really was tho. Thanks for posting that linek, I found another mp3 I was looking for on there... :)

It was my pleasure to share those links. I may do it occasionaly with one or another link with some interesting recordings or something that worth it... anyway, i don't want to focus my presence here on mp3 links.

If it wasn't file sharing i wouln't know arlo's music/work/atitude/etc. I first listened to arlo when i downloaded wodstock movie (by the way, i found out that woodstock was just named woodstock when the movie came out...).

Most of my music i get it from the internet, i refuse to buy recoords to feed big bad ugly rich fat labels that just want money. And so i try to fight that the way i can. BUT, there are the records that worth to buy. Arlo made a foundation and created a label, when buying a arlo's record i know that i am contributing for something i trust, agree and belive. Once i get back to my county i'll buy alice's restaurant. Witch one do u recomend me? The original one or the revesited edition?
Post your opinion and give your reasons.

Cheers!

Cheers all!

yeah...i thought long and hard about it, and you're right. but you forgot about the soundtrack. my favorite though is the tape i got of the alice's revisited, becuz it came out while i was aware that it had just come out, and i got it signed...after i'd finally gotten the wrapper off..actually, i may have handed it to arlo in despair cuz i couldn't get the wrapper off, and he may have taken it off...i was feeling awfully shy and awkward...but underneath that gruff pi**ed-off exterior, i was having a blast, and this is true. so my favorite is the revisited alice's on that merit.

I Although I've been reading things here for a while, but just registered yesterday, so I'm sorry to voice my opinions so long after the original posts, but I can't resist.

I love the story about Nixon that you can't get on the original, although there is something magic about the original.

Thanks, Cheryl,

In spite of the way it sounds from that post, English really is my native language.
