We'll TRY to send ya some warm temps, real soon!

Ruthie, be careful when sending warm air to the north... we don't want you being the cause of the next wave of tornado activity.

Good morning, BlunderNortherners! We're sending warm air as fast as our tired arms can flap! Also sending Guthries northward. We saw SLG and Johnny last night--great show! Perhaps more importantly, we saw Olivia--a beautiful little girl now, not a baby anymore. They're headed north to the Blue Door in OKC today, then farther north after that. Maybe they'll carry some springtime with them.

OK..............Who's been sending BlunderRainVibes my way???
A big kiss to whoever it was!!!!!
I've been hangin' out 'til the sun had lost it's summer bite and maybe 'til we got a little rain to plant my new seasons veggies.
We've had the driest summer in 100 years!!!!
Anyway I felt the time was right and planted my seedlings on Monday............
that night I said to John (after a cool Autumn morning) "It's feeling a bit humid this evening, maybe we'll get a little rain???".He just looked at me like I'd gone a little crazy or somethin',shook his head and said "Nup".
Well when I woke up on Tues morning at 5 to get ready for work....I heard a strange sound. Yup the sweet sound of RAIN on the corrugated iron roof!!!!
I didn't mind gettin' a little wet at work when wheelin' plants I'd potted to the greenhouses and I actually took my time wheelin' the grocery trolly through Woolworths carpark on my way to the car!!
I got home not only with my clothes smudged with potting mix (a usual), but soaking wet and with a big smile on my face!!!
John came out to help bring the groceries in and looked at me like a crazy woman again, but with a big grin on his dial (OZspeak for face). I ran straight over to look at the baby lettuce, snowpeas etc. and they were really happy! It is now Wed arvo (OZspeak for afternoon) and we've had rain off and on all day. The grass has turned green overnight!
Summer is usually our wet season and it's been sooooo dry...........
So thanks to who ever it was.
It's no where near the rain we should have had over summer (we usually get at least 2 floods) but it's better than nothing!

Well, it's 8 o'clock Friday night here and it's been raining most of the day!!!!! Whoopie!
I just need to blow some to my friends to the West, (inland, over a range), who had to buy water to fill up their tanks last week and as yet not a drop of rain.

aka ruthie wants me to say HI to everyone from her. She has had some personal stuff to deal with but now has a new home but is not connected to the net yet. I think she could use some BlunderVibes. She might see them if she can get on at the Library some time. Thanks.
