...thought i ought to start a new thread, so we can all follow everybody's progress....

....early this year, i finally found my biological family on my mother's side....after many years of searching....they live in Florida....so we haven't met yet....but we are having some great communications thru email and phone....it is quite a gift to find 3 brothers and a sister and many more ... well, you get the drift...

my youngest half-brother, Tom, had 2 heart attacks last year (age 49)....he is scheduled to have at least a quadruple bypass on Monday morning around 7am.....
....i would really appreciate blundervibes and prayers for him and his family......thanks for your time...

kj, in Florida you need a permit to send blundervibes and prayers. As soon as Jeb signs the paperwork, mine are off for your new-found Sunshine State family members. Meanwhile, incantations and magic are permit-free (loophole), so I'm doing that right now.

Many blundervibes to you and your brother ... how exciting to find family like that after all these years. Hope you get a chance to meet them all soon.

How cool to find a long-lost family! Of course, I'll never experience anything like that---If you're an Italian in Pittsburgh, every 5th person you run into is a relative.

....Tom was out of surgery by 3pm this afternoon...he had 5 bypasses and some laser....he did well, though the docs said his heart was quite damaged....as of now he's holding his own in ccu....
