Can't make it this yr. (court date I can't miss) Maybe if the judge is fair, he'll cancell my other court date in July???

* mean ol judge threw the book at me (Woody)

** But I'd be glad to sponcer anyone. It's only 7 miles. & John make sure to take lots of photo's. Gonna miss walkin up that big hill. John & Larry sure were an inspiration last yr. Brian was no help in that dept. It could of had somthing to do with the Michelobe the nite before. ntm: never met a tuffer bunch than that of 1957!

* remember the piece in the road that 1957 is imbedded in metal...need to take a photo of that & send it to Spark Plug...

I'm back in CT now after a great weekend. I managed to walk the whole HD walk for the first time ever! Larry didn't even have to carry me, although he offered, and was trying to figure out the best way. I told him I didn't think it would be necessary, and it wasn't. I found my stride and stuck with it, and the endorphins kicked in after a while, and it was great! I was so excited, 'cos I had never made it past the 4 mile rest stop before. Yippee!

Beverly, I took LOTS of photos... I think Arlo thought I was born with a camera attached to my face.

Judy, congrats! You didn't even look tired when you came through our half-way point! Glad you made it all the way up those hills.

I LOVED the HD Walk and plan to return next year. Eric came up with a great idea (he wasn't all that into it, just "went along" because I made him do it), but as time went on, he really got into the whole spirit of it.

Good thing too!If the carrying you thing didn't work, plan "W" was to walk behind you with a bullwhip and crack you in the ass if you slowed down! But we didn't hafta do that either. ( In fact, didn't we have to catch up to you once or twice there Speedy?)

I'm very glad you didn't have to resort to Plan W, Larry. And yes, I think your wife and I both left you in the dust a time or two.

Yup, it is a good thing. I left the bullwhip home! $18,000 for the cause was raised ! Even without a bullwhip!!!

Eric and I had such a great time! I posted the setlists along with some commentary over in the "official" forums under "Live From Great Barrington."

It was good seeing you guys again, Wyld, Sue, Cindy, Larry and Linda, Pat, Deb, Judy, Gay and David Lynch... everyone. I made new friends this weekend, Diana, Jennie, Helen and, of course, George.
