She has been shifted out of the neuro dept to general type room. She did have a bleed and is still not her old self yet,but is making progress and hoping to be sprung from there in a week or so.
Thanks again for the blundervibes, prayers and thoughts

It's nice to hear that she is doing better, and I hope that you are able to bring her home in time for Christmas.

Sparky, glad she's doing better.

Please add my friend John's son to your prayers. I don't know what's going on, but this is what he wrote to me today:

"my son has something going on medically that has me very concerned."

John is the person who, when we were 16, was the FIRST to ever mention Alice's Restaurant to me and I gave him a blank stare. The rest is history (Arlo... 33 years and counting!)

SparkyDon, Had read your post about Jane getting better, but had to leave before saying how glad I am. So I thought about her and sent vibes while we were singing with Arlo tonight; still sending Blundervibes, of course, but I think those sent earlier this everning were probably a little stronger. Yippeee for Jane and continued returning strength to her!!!!

Michael's been having a really rough time this season (since early September, he's been on steroids 3 times).

Just in time for Halloween, he started not feeling well, as in... regular kid stuff, not his asthma. Doc gave him an antibiotic and left it to my discretion whether or not I wanted to let him take it. I decided to start the antibiotic on Saturday night, due to his increased secretions and need for his nebulizer (better safe than sorry.. he's been hospitalized with pneumonia 3 times already).

He went back to school on Monday. Was fine until tonight when he blossomed out with the most horrendous bright red cheeks, mucous, wheezing and a 101.5 temp. He has a headache, probably from the fever.

Steroids do lower the immune system's functionality (actually, that's how they work to reduce allergic, asthmatic and arthritic flare-ups), but his immune system is now totally out of whack.

Please wish us well. I have a feeling I'm in for a long haul this time around.

Terrie

I'm sorry Michael is having such a rough time.I hope he'll stabilize and be able to relax soon,so you can relaz.
Is the weather affecting him? I know whenever it is cold and damp here my lungs are more sensitive. It has been cold and damp the past four days, and I can feel it.
I'm sending blundervibes your way.Hope they help.

Poor little guy--sounds like he's absolutely miserable (and you too). You will all be in my thoughts. Blundervibes certainly headed your way.

Prayers just said. Hope he gets better soon. When the weather goes from warmer to cooler it upsets my allergies. Hoping for the best for your son...
