I just wanted to let you all know that today is Mrs. T's 80th birthday! We are looking forward to seeing her.

We are having a small "cake and coffee" (set up by her daughter, Michele,) at her "residence" at lunch time today. Michele has also planned a big "family" party for June 9th. (due to the holiday and a family wedding out of state).

She is doing - amazingly - well and we will bring all of your regards to her.

Happy Birthday, Mrs T!!
Sending you best wishes
from the edge of the ocean!
Don't do any dishes,
Just bunches of toastin'

Here's to the day
In honor of your birth
The 22nd of May
You were a gift to this Earth!

This part I'm writing on Mrs. T's behalf:

She would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year. She also told me (long ago - my bad) to thank you for all her 80th birthday wishes and cards.

*********
Now from me...
Mrs. T's health is better than we expected, I guess just by the fact that she is still with us...who knew? Miracles do happen. She does Look wonderful - which always amazes me. I always expect to see her get up and leave for the Paramus Malls.

Her daughter Michele, who again this year single handedly kept me healthy (despite my objections) has had another VERY tough year personally - juggling both normal and extraordinary hardships - while doing the job of a saint (RN). I promise both her and you guys, that when things settle down for her (and they will someday) I will get her up to a fall church gig so you can all meet.

IF you a have stamp and an extra card (I know you don't have any extra time so I know what Im asking is not easy...), I will leave you with the request again this year to send a card to Mrs. T. She just LOVES to get mail. (And she just gets such a kick out of "us".)

Mrs. T's address:

The Ridgewood Center
Mrs. Lucille Tamburro #32B
330 Franklin Turnpike
Ridgewood, NJ 07450

Thank you all again!

That card is already addressed--it was nice to see Mrs. T's name on my list. And to you--as Arlo says, Merry Everything!

Great timing with the address ... cookies by Mom being baked this week (just a few selections). We'll get some to her. I'm so glad to hear she's doing so much better.

What can I say...You guys are the best!

My plan (uh oh - a plan?) is to take Barley Beagle to see Mrs. T. on Christmas eve day. We'll see how that works out! He's been a bit skidish lately. Who knows, she might be the best medicine for him and vice versa!

Thank you all so much and have a WONDERFUL Holiday!

Much Love, REG
