This could be the place for everyone with some UFO's (UnFinished Objects) stashed in a closet to brag about finally finishing them up. My goal is to stay out of quilt shops for 6 months and sew up all the huge pile of fabric I already have. (Including the Blunderite quilt).

What is everyone else working on? C'mon, dig out that old macrame wall hanging and tie all those loose ends together! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

I have been thinking for years that it was about time I started using my brain, but I am not sure that this is the right time to begin, I mean it might rain and then where would I be?

Dave does not have enough space for me to list all of mine. It would blow the server up! But here's one I did: I always wait too late to get tickets/reservations, but last night I got us a room for WoodyFest, and we don't have to stay a hundred miles away! Been putting it off for months.

hmmmm.... like Ceashel, I have way too many to list... but for a start, there is the quilt that I did one block... and fabrics and patterns for other projects (clothes and such)... and yarn... there's the cape I started knitting two years ago... and I was gonna start a beaded jewelry business, so I have all these beads... and I really want to start drawing and painting as I did when I was young... so I have the pencils and paints and a sketch pad with three lousy drawings... and... and ... <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/blush.gif" width=16 height=16>

Anyway... the one I'm gonna work on again now is the clothing... I just sorted out my wardrobe and am disposing of much... but I need to replace a few pieces. There's no point in spending money on clothes if I can make what I want, and it won't cost me anything but time, since I already have the supplies.

And just a quick bit of advice to Wyldflower,
I used to make beaded jewelry:- earings, necklaces, braclets, keychains, and so on, but beads can work out quite expencive, trail round the second hand and charity shops, you'll find lots of old beaed neaklaces you can cut up. I used to get some lovely glass and wodden beads for next to nothing.

This reminds me. I had a chrocheted (sp?) afhgan (sp?) that I had started in the 70's as a present for my mom. I have never finished it yet & that was 27 yrs or more ago at least LOL! My aunbt who taught me the stitches for it died in the 80's so I suspect if I ever got to do it again I'd never get the stitches just right. It was gonna be one huge granny square really oversized as a afghan. At the rate I'm going it'll never be finished before my mom & I die...

Larry, that's soo true. My unfinished business is updates on just about every website I work on including this corner of ArloNet. I still want to put up Todd's page. I now work for one of the organizations that I do a site for and I need to do some updates to the design of that whole thing and there's at least something I should do for all of them. My excuse/reason is that I collected so many of them when I could do at least some of it during the work day. Now I can't. In theory I can do the one for my job at work, but there's not actually a enough time for that so far and by the time I get home, later and a lot more tired than from the last job, I can barely lift a mouse to answer e-mail and do the necessary updates to my son's..band's gigs, etc, that absolutely have to get done.

Among the unstarted business is cleaning out the basement and other worthy "around the house" type projects.

Would "Unstarted business" be a whole new thread, I've got lots of that, too!!! Like, clean out my garage...and all that other 'should do' stuff!
