do you guys eat turkey on thanksgiving too? or is that just an american tradition?

Do you Canadians have any folksingers that litter and get arrested and stuff on Thanksgiving, or is it just us Yankees that have those kinda traditions?

Thanksgiving in Canada is very much like it is here in the USA...way too much food and yes, turkey and pumkin pie are standards, lots of folks go to homeless shelters to serve meals for the homeless and many blankets and quilts are handed out, also jackets,coats,gloves and scarves, it's that time of year once more.
The dumps are closed and workers get double time for working, or at least double pay.
I think thankgivings is an excellent time to give first thanks for our blessings and then to give what we can for those which have less then us. maybe to be truly thankful we do need to know how very lucky we are.

okay so no one asked me, but I feel at least half Canuck and I lived in Canada as long as I have lived in the USA so what the heck.

The Queen,s send off was yesterday,she leaves this a.m.....I wasn,t invited so I ordered in a hot turkey sandwich <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/yum.gif" width=15 height=15>
