Speaking of which, this is a Todd check. Thinking of you, dude. Hoping you're OK, wherever you're at.

i'd like to state for the new people or those that do not know me...i explain my situation because i feel such unconditional love and support from my friends here.
they have proven to me their care and concern is genuine and pure..

i am not running a dog and pony show in an effort to elicit sympathy..i am just stating what is...as opposed to what should be.

with that in mind...saw the big doc today...
i will be put on transplant list in june.
told him any old liver would do...anything lying around is fine...he reminded me that it would all be futile if i checked out..so he doped me and sent me home with a smile upon my face...a legal smile...who'd of thought that would ever happen? lol!

ONWARD!!!

"Nothing will happen until something moves."
(Albert Einstein)

Todd, so glad you got to see Dr. Feelgood! And that you will be on the list. I'm one of many who have received the love and support here, and know how powerful they are. We're all in this together.

June? That's not so far away. And legal drugs to boot! Thanks for the update--and do please keep posting your news, good or bad. Selectively oblivious minds want to know!

I hope you get what you need bro.
I'm glad to hear that you will be on the transplant list soon.
When my sister died in 1995, at the age of 36 due to a heart condition that runs in my family, I sat in a meeting with my other 2 sisters and a counseler from the organ bank.
Strangely enough, I felt worse for the red-eyed counseler than I did for myself and my sisters. She had a tough but very important job.
It was one of the toughest things I ever had to do in my life, as my sister was still on life support at that time, but with no hope of returning to this earth in human form, and we were deciding to donate her organs. We knew she would want to donate, not only because that was her nature, but she at some time in the future had she lived would have been a candidate for a heart transplant herself, so she had a deeper insight than most of us would.
The point I want to make bro, is that there were at least 2 families served that day, ours, and the family whose member was given the gift of life by my sisters gift. I can assure you that both sides were thankful.
It gave those of us on the donor side a feeling of peace to know that our sister made such a gift available even after her own death, and that she lived on in yet another way other than spirtual.
When you recieve your gift Todd, remember that in some way, you will be giving as much as you recieve, even if you don't know it.
I've been on one side, I know and my words are sincere.

Kerry, we should put that quote, on the letterhead, of our "Axis of the Confused" application, it's brilliant!
You, Kerry, are the Sarah Hughes, of Blunderchat, as well as Ambassador to the Future!!

just a shot of respite from the storm...to recharge the batteries so to speak.

bump,,,when it comes to kerry,,,don't even think it..she's not another stalking target for the likes of you...she actually has a personality..unlike your irish twin.

happy news, todd!! hopefully, that liver will show up sooner rather than later. my prayers will be for that.

good time for all of us that are so inclined to remind our families that we want our organs donated. as a friend of mine (who received a kidney transplant) always says.. "don't take your organs to heaven, heaven knows we need them here".

I don't stalk, Todd, I relate! Kerry is an intelligent, young woman, who I respect, as I do Shannon, you're just ruffled cuz she poked back, at you.. you yip at an Irish Colleen, you'd better be prepared for a sharp retort..
