probably everyone is confused to some extent.

and i was actually referring to myself, but it could refer to anyone as well, going all kaleidoscopic.

well if i were to comment on the posts and songs here just now and what is being expressed i guess i would say, conflicted in some way

and not to do with your atheism.

the diversity of songs is not strange to me (heck look at me, one minute someone is swearing a blue streak, the next, baby kittens)

(and no high horse here!)

i don't know....maybe i am just hallucinizin'!

but anyway, i thought it was an interesting question

my immediate response would be, yes, it is possible....but i elaborated a little

is it possible for an atheist to love Jesus?

well, i suppose it is one thing to love a person, and another thing to turn it all into a religion?
(considering (as from) an atheist point of view?)

that question kind of made my head do like this and i don't know why?
something about it and i can't quite explain
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aty5H-Jp7Ro

wow....this one is really cool

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiZ2BdR7p9Q

oh, and i shared the clips there because i thought it would be fun (and even humorous (a poking a little fun at myself) to illustrate the way the question sort of generated thought after thought in my mind....but i said, "mind, we haven't got all day."

i didn't think it would make anyone mad.

well this certainly seems a dead roads song
It is about the past and place
and the now and the future
I guess I suppose and it reminds of my past
and a place where I once was

I saw this band in the fairgrounds at okc with Little Feat with Lowell George as the backup

I was trippin my butt off, very good night

and, from my first dead show (i smoked an awful lot of dope that night)

just thinking of the old midnight movies at the Center Theater in Downtown OKC
The knocked it down but it was a great theater from back when
it was right across the street from the Civic Center (where the Dead played that first time I saw them)
and just a block away from where Timothy McVeigh made a name for himself 15 years later or so.

anyway
