Been on a buisiness trip for five weeks now. With going home for weekends and then hitting the road again I have been missing my guitar and decided to bring it along with me. The devastating thing was that yesturday morning I had put my guitar down on the floor next to my table in the hotel resteraunt for a short moment while I went to get something to eat for breakfeast. To my horror it wasn't there when I returned. After complaints to management and reporting the theft to the police there have been no results so far. But tonight someone came knocking on my door and had a guitar in hand. This guy just gave me his guitar after hearing that I had mine stolen. He told me that he had his favorite guitar stolen years ago and said that he remembers how he felt so he decided to give me one of his guitars as he had others. He wouldnt take no for an answer. I am still shocked. It's just nice to know that there are some really great people out there.

Just amazing. I offered to pay this guy but he wont take it and I offered to pay his hotel bill and he wont accept that either. I feel guilty not being able to repay this guy some how. After all I was at fault for leaving my guitar unattended. I just didn't think someone would grab it out in the open like that. It really makes me feel good that there are still good people out there and has opened my eyes.

If you have no way to reach him, you could always "pay it forward" when an opportunity presents itself.

He sounds like an amazing person. One that makes the world a much happier place!
